Slam Dunk extends to Bournemouth and Glasgow
The annual punk, hardcore, emo and ska event, which for the last four years has been held at Leeds University, had already planned to double in size by announcing an extra date at Hertfordshire University.High demand for tickets though has lead organisers to expand the festival even further to encompass the length of the UK.
This year’s line-up, which sees 40 bands playing across seven stages, includes New Found Glory, Alkaline Trio, Four Year Strong, Set Your Goals, Against Me! and an exclusive reunion from British ska punk favourites Capdown.
Slam Dunk Festival 2010 takes place at Bournemouth O2 Academy on 28 May, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield on 29 May, Leeds University on 30 May and Glasgow O2 Academy on 31 May.
Tickets are available for £25 for each event.

Skindred and more for Slam Dunk Festival 2010
Alkaline Trio, Against Me, Rolo Tomassi and We are the Ocean have been added to the line-up along with My Passion, Hit the Lights, The Wonder Years and The Audition.The festival, which this year is set to take place in both Leeds and London, will be headlined by New Found Glory and feature performances from Capdown, Four Year Strong, Set Your Goals and many more.
Tickets are on sale now priced at £25 for either leg of the event.

Slam Dunk Festival South 2010 will take place at the University of Hertfordshire on 29 May before Slam Dunk Festival North 2010 runs at Leeds University on 30 May.
Each leg of the festival will feature seven stages of music with room for 5,000 fans.
